Grab your girls, we're off to Reading Build a Boaton your hen weekend! So how's it work? Your hen party will be tasked with building a boat out of cardboard and then race it round a lake! You'll need excellent team work, imagination and determination to smash this Blue Peter-style challenge.
Can you design and create a boat out of nothing but cardboard, plastic sheeting, a few sticks and loads of masking tape? Materials are limited and time is super tight. Put your heads together and find out what you can do when you're up against it.
Will your boat be square, circular or shaped like a kayak? Work fast and work smart. The minutes soon slip away and suddenly it's time to get in the water for the race. Grab a paddle and see if you can get round a buoyed course on a beautiful lake. Give it some welly and see how far you can get. Will it sink or float? Someone always ends up in the water. Make sure your phones are charged to the max, the photos and video will be comedy gold!
Build a boat on your Reading hen party and you'll come away with some priceless memories that will make you look back and laugh. It's not every day your bestie gets hitched. Send her off with an activity that will always be remembered.
