The hula hoops are comically small and the space hoppers are super bouncy. The scene is set for fun and lots of laughs.

That's what this is all about: giving a nod to the past but getting out there and making some new memories with the friends you love the most. Sure the aim is to get the most points but even if you win nothing but the wooden spoon you'll still have a great time.

The 'coach' keeps score and makes sure everything runs nice and smooth. No need to organise anything! Even the group leader can get stuck in and enjoy herself.

If you're up for something different and don't want to be the hen party who simply came to Nottingham and did archery because of the whole Robin Hood thing, pop your names down for this. Why settle for the parents' race at your kid's school when you can do the whole thing with your best mates?
