Manchester Old School Sports Day
Get your hen party on track with eggs and spoons!
Which house will win Manchester Old School Sports Day? Gather the girls and relive the highlight of every summer term, when the whole school swapped classrooms for field and took part in a bunch of competitive sports. Close finishes, surprise results and prizes for the lucky winners made it the best day of the year. Now you get to do it as big kids. Team up and race for points and prizes.
Saturday afternoons were made for space hopper racing!
Not been to the gym recently? Doesn't matter. This is like riding a bike, you always remember how. It will all come flooding back as you dash up to the hula hoop, skip to the finish, grab the beanbag and leg it back to tag your team mate. This event is spot on for a big group occasion like a hen weekend. After 60 minutes of beanbag races you'll be giggling and throwing banter around with girls you just met.
Manchester Old School Sports Day ends with the traditional prize giving. We won't spoil the surprise by revealing what the winners get but to get an idea, cast your mind back to what was given out by the head teacher back in the day. Celebrate your big win or take your wooden spoon off to a bar for drinks. Toast the hen with a cheeky glass of fizz at a champagne bar in Spinningfields.
