Step back to the Prohibition Era on your hen weekend with one hell of a fabulous activity. The Lincoln 1920's Dance Class is so much fun for a hen night, plus it's the perfect excuse to set your theme as flappers from the Roaring Twenties. We're talking about flirty flapper dresses, feathered headbands, lace gloves and kitten heels. Come on, ladies; this is the ultimate hen party fancy dress for those sophisticated brides. Get on it, girls!
The Charleston was one of those dance crazes which swept the nation and took the ladies and lads by storm on the dance floor. From the 1920s through to modern times this dance style has continued to give girls a brilliant night out. You don't need to be a professional dancer or even have experience at all for this class. The lesson is geared towards beginners, and the instructor will move the class along at a pace to suit the overall ability and skill level of the group.
We'll book your bride tribe in for a brilliant 1920's dance class, which will take place at a private studio or in the private room of a restaurant or bar in the city centre. Get your bride tribe down to the venue at the meeting time, and be ready to dance in clothing that doesn't restrict your movement and comfortable shoes. You'll be met there by your friendly, experienced dance teacher and start the session with a high energy warm up.
After everyone's limbered up and ready to do some dancing, the instructor will demonstrate the routine. The dance will be broken down into easy to learn steps and sections, and you'll have plenty of time to practice before showing off what you've learned in a final group performance. The bars and clubs of Lincoln won't hit them when you ladies start busting out the moves.
