Your first stop is the village of Velo Grablje, once the centre of lavender production in the ancient world. Here, you will visit a traditional lavender farm and meet the lovely locals. find out how this beautiful, fragrant plant is harvested and spend some time with the producers before heading on to Stari Grad, Croatia's oldest town.
The 2,000 year old settlement of Stari Grad still retains its old world feel - you'll wander through streets that have barely changed since the Ancient Greeks first settled the area. Surrounding the town is the plain of Stari Grad, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the oldest and most beautiful agricultural landscapes in the world. Its olive groves and lavender fields have been supplying the island with goodies since 300BC!
If your fave ladies have been enjoying the brightly coloured cocktails found in the bars of Hvar town, a trip along the coast is the perfect way to cure those aching heads! The last leg of your scooter safari gives you a chance to do just that, as you putter past the spectacular bay of Dubovica. All together now - ahhhh. That's better!
