How to use your time wisely

We all may have a little bit more time on our hands than before due to the current pandemic but this should not stop us planning for the best day of our lives. We have listed a variety of things you could still be doing to make sure no time is wasted.

1. Practice your wedding make-up

This is the perfect time to practice your make-up for the big day, what colour you like on your eyes or maybe what mascara you like the best. It’s a time to really perfect your look and to make sure you know how you want your make-up. Experiment with different eyeshadows or maybe even different ways of applying your make-up.

2. Practice you wedding hair

We know that some of you may be getting a hairdresser in to do this but that does not stop you having a go and practising some different hair styles yourself. You could crack some hair styles that you would need several practices with. This way you might have a clearer picture on how you want your hair to be for your big day.

3. Research, research, research

Do your research ladies! Time could be spent on having a look at what themes you really want for your wedding, what colours your bridesmaid’s dresses will be and even your wedding stationary designs. Planning the overall theme of the wedding will help further down the line and save you a lot of time.

4. Create a mood board

To go with your research, create a mood board of the colours that you like together, pictures of wedding inspiration and even pictures of venues where you would love to get married.

5. Speech writing

This is the perfect time to absolutely nail your speech and get your husband to be writing his too. You can spend time on making this the speech to remember!

6. First Dance

You could spend some time with your partner dancing around the living room, getting in the steps whilst practising your moves for the big day. If you haven’t chosen your music yet this could also be a good time to listen to some playlists.
