Liverpool's renowned for its nightlife. The city that brought us Cream (which still pops up for an occasional belter at the Nation venue where it all started) makes no bones about its credentials. Check out our rules for what's hot, what's not and where you can go in a nurse's uniform, to make sure your hen party enjoys everything the city of the Liver bird has to offer!
Concert Square is Liverpool's main bar and clubbing destination, and it's very hen party friendly. Just around the corner from Lime Street station, Concert Square's got a proper mix of nightlife spots in one convenient location - which means you can get as squiffy as you like and still stay together as a group! Music ranges from house and r'n'b to indie and alternative. Most bars in Concert Square will welcome hen parties in fancy dress, but some trendier establishments may turn you away.
The legendary Mathew Street, home of the Cavern Club and the birthplace of the biggest band in history, is also a favourite night spot for hen parties. Thanks to the street's Beatle associations, there are tons of retro clubs and bars to try - we'd recommend Rubber Soul, Flares and Boogie Nights. Fancy dress is the order of the day on Mathew Street. Expect 8 million Beatles and the usual complement of superheroes, country squires and nurses/firemen/policewomen!
When the rest of Liverpool's bars and clubs have shut up shop for the night, Eberle Street is just getting started. This is where you go when you've danced the small hours away and still want more! G Bar and Passion are both open until 7am, cranking out funky house for ladies who just can't stop.
