Whether you're a fine dining foodie or fancy eating somewhere famous, here are five restaurants you need in your life. Great for hen parties, big birthdays or just because we all love good grub!
You can't fault Jamie's for great food and a warm, friendly atmosphere. One of the more accessible celebrity restaurant chains, this place is on the upmarket, hip side without being pretentious. Great if you're planning a hen party and want something special but don't fancy forking out a fortune on fine dining. The trendiest branch of Fifteen is in Amsterdam.
Voted as the best restaurant in the world by loads of famous chefs and critics, this place will blow your mind. Owned by the quirky Heston Blumenthal, it's part lab, part restaurant and part theatre. It is on the expensive side but you're paying for the ultimate dining experience. Expect dishes delivered in test tubes, edible cocktails, citrus perfume, and wonderful concoctions served in wooden boxes and seashells. Think Alice in Wonderland at a restaurant. With the Mad Hatter of course!
You've seen James in action on Saturday Kitchen, now sample his wares for real! Located inside the lush Manchester 235 casino, this is a must for lovers of great British dishes with a twist. Think classics updated for the 21st century, the best steaks in the North West, and truly wicked desserts.
Love pizza? Love ping pong? Come to Das Kino and see if you can munch your way through a metre-long pizza. This is a particularly good choice for a vintage hen party as the whole place is themed around the decadence of 1930s Berlin. Located in an old lace warehouse in the city's trendy Fletcher Gate area, it's got a great relaxed vibe and does amazing cocktails and Coke floats.
