10 Weekends Under £100

Bargain alert! If you're on a super tight budget, these are the best places and packages for your money. All for under £100.

Your bestie is getting hitched. Best news ever! As her maid of honour and best bud, you have the big job of planning her hen. Obviously it's going to be the best party in history. There's just one problem: money. If none of you are brokers, chief execs, spies or super villains capable of robbing a bank and leaving no evidence, Vegas is probably out.

Here's the good news: there are a bunch of awesome hen weekends you can go on that won't wipe you out. Unless you pick the Totally Wiped Out one and stack it on the big red balls. I've picked five UK and five European party packages that prove you can have a good time without serious wedge.

Bubble Football in Nottingham from £83

Planning a hen in Nottingham? You can play bubble football, do a club, and spend a night in a boutique hotel near the castle and city centre without going into triple figures. There are chain pubs on Market Square that do cheap shots and you can bounce between cocktail bars without going broke because happy hour seems to last until midnight in Hockley.

Beyonce Single Ladies Party Package in Derby from £76

Everyone loves Beyonce. Even those who say they don't, feel the urge to work a hair flip when Crazy in Love comes on. Single Ladies is pretty much the anthem for all hen weekends everywhere. Some genius decided to create a dance class based on Put a Ring On It. The moves are fairly simple. Looking fierce is a must. The Single Ladies package also includes a one-night stay in a Derby city centre hotel, plus bar and club entry because let's face it, you are going to want to show off those moves round the Cathedral Quarter after a few drinks.

Grease Dance Party Package in Sheffield from £93

It's been voted the best musical of all time loads of times so you know that a Grease dance package is going to be a big hit with a hen party. Do the whole Pink Ladies thing, smash the hand jive, and then destroy a party platter meal at a bar before you do the bars on Sheffield's famous West Street. VIP club entry is included so you can jump the queue. When you're all partied out, head back to the hotel (accommodation is included) and crash on your bed.

Adonis Cabaret Weekend in Blackpool from £93

The great thing about Blackpool hen weekends is they're cheap. Hella cheap! But you have to just go with it. You're not going to get a chai tea latte here but what you will get is ripped male strippers. In firefighter uniform. Waving hoses around and busting out Channing Tatum-style dance moves inches in front of you face. Also really cheap drinks. Proper northern fish and chips. Massive ice creams. Your money will go a long way here. Let's not forget the Pleasure Beach and Blackpool Tower. It won't be hip, classy or even remotely stylish but it will be a lot of fun. Where else can you stay in a hotel for two nights and see the Adonis Cabaret show, for under £100?

Totally Wiped Out Birmingham from £94

Remember Total Wipeout on TV? Well, this is the team version for stag and hen weekends. If you ever watched the contenders bounce across the big red balls and wished you could have a go, this is your big chance to live that dream! Do Totally Wiped Out and tackle a bunch of team challenges based on the ones from the show. Then do Broad Street and queue jump your way into a club. A good one, not a meat market with sticky carpets. We're talking lasers, videos, dancers, slick as hell decor - the full works. A night in a hotel is included so you'll have somewhere to get ready and crash when the club kicks out.

Essential Tenerife Weekend from £83

It's a bit like Blackpool, only in Spain so it's actually hot and sunny. And the sea isn't a colour best described as 'sludge'. Tenerife hen weekends are all about getting a bit of sun and partying all night in cheesy bars that don't charge €10 for a cocktail. It's cheap and warm most of the year, which makes it a no brainer if you're looking for hen weekends under £100. If you choose your dates carefully and avoid the school holidays, you can get two nights accommodation in Playa de las Americas, a bar crawl, a VIP party night with bubbly or cocktails, and airport transfers from £83 per person. Check it out: Essential Tenerife.

Cocktail Making in Dublin from £99

The flights are super cheap and short. They know how to party. The city is pretty and full of friendly people. It's Dublin and everyone likes it. If you want to go abroad but don't want the drama that often comes with it, pop over to Dublin and go crazy round Temple Bar for a couple of days. A cocktail making session will get the girls up for shenanigans. Going behind the bar is always fun and you get to drink what you make. Whether that's a good thing depends on whether or not you've been listening to your barman! This package includes two nights accommodation and airport transfers so you've got all the essentials covered.

Albufeira Budget Bonanza from £99

The Algarve is the southernmost part of Portugal and it really is stunning. It's got the lot: powdery sands on long beaches, secret coves, turquoise waters, breathtaking cliffs and mountain ranges that will make you go "damn!" It's also got Albufeira, the party resort that's just peachy if you have a budget of £100 for a hen party package. Check out the Albufeira Budget Bonanza. You can do three nights with transfers and a bar crawl from £99 per person. Flights are nice and cheap. Avenida Dr. Francisco Sa Caneiro - aka 'The Strip' - is loaded with bars and clubs. Happy hour goes on forever.

Essential Budapest from £76

This is what you do if you're looking at city break hen weekends under £100: go to Budapest. The City of Spas is a great place to chill, party and explore. They even have 'sparties' - club nights in the grand indoor and outdoor thermal spas for which the city is famous. Essential Budapest does what it says on the tin: covers the essentials. That means two nights accommodation, airport transfers, and a bar crawl, which is the fastest way to get to know Liszt Ferenc Square and the top drinking areas. Beer is super cheap and hella good. Paprika is in everything. Ruin pubs (cool bars in derelict buildings) are great places to party.

Pub Crawl in Prague from £91

Prague is really pretty. If you want a cheapie city break and a couple of messy nights out with the girls, the Czech capital is where you go. The shopping is really good and you can do crazy stuff like bathe in Czech beer at a spa. For around £100 you can get a two-night stay, transfers and a bar and pub crawl that will get you acquainted with the drinking areas around Wenceslas Square and Old Town Square.
