Plait your hair and stick your pumps on - it's Glasgow Old School Sports Day. If you're looking for nostalgic hen do ideas that will take you all the way back to the good times you shared as kids, this will be a winner. This event takes 1 hour and is packed with fun stuff: sack race, egg and spoon, beanbags, cones, and space hoppers. Race in houses and pretend you're at Hogwarts. It's all good.
On the day, you'll arrive at the venue - an indoor sports hall or similar space - to be greeted by an event coordinator. Everything is sorted for you. All the equipment will be there. Each house has its own coloured bibs. Once these have been handed out and the very few rules explained, it's time to race your little hearts out for first place.
Who will be the legend that smashes the 100m race? Who will get the glory of slaying the egg and spoon? Anything can happen on Glasgow Old School Sports Day. You'll be talking about who won what for ages.
As this event is perfectly timed at 60 minutes, you will still have lots of time to go out and explore Glasgow. Merchant City is a big must and you can't have a hen weekend in Scotland's second city without food at the famous Chippy Doon the Lane. You'll have earned your battered sausages after all that running!
