Give your hen party the Hunger Games treatment with a Birmingham Archery experience!
Where better to try your hand at the ancient sport of archery than a fabulous outdoor activity centre set within medieval woods? We've found an amazing events venue that combines easy access to B'ham city centre with gorgeous green and lush Warwickshire countryside. You'll feel like you've been whisked back to the 16th century.
You will, however, be using modern Olympic-style archery equipment. This is a 21st century hen weekend after all!
After a meet and greet with the instructors, each hen will get a bow and quiver of arrows that suit her size and weight. Learn the fundamentals, nail the basic archery shot and then show off your new skills in a round robin event.
This lesson is brilliant for groups with little or no experience, as the lovely instructors set the targets close at first so you've got a higher chance of hitting them. As your confidence increases, they'll get more challenging. You'll see some real progression and feel like a badass group of warrior hens when you head back into the bustling city.
This is a great chance to learn a rewarding new skill in a stunning countryside setting just outside the mad rush of Birmingham. Let's go! Channel your inner Katniss Everdeen and have a go.
